The Amazing Race on Sunday, June 24, 2012

You've seen the reality show on CBS on Sunday night, now make the show a reality. Don't have time for a race around the world? Take a Sunday afternoon and race around central Iowa. Emmanuel UMC will be hosting an Amazing Race on Sunday, June 24th. Planning is already underway for this spectacular event. We are looking for 3 - 10 teams of 4 people each - 2 adults, 1 teenager, and 1 child. We will form the teams with no more than 2 family members per team. Car travel will be required. There will be LOTS of physical activity required for all members of the teams including walking/running. However, if that sounds like too much work, you can still get in on the fun by volunteering to help with other aspects of the race. We will need between 10 and 30 volunteers to hand out clues, judge tasks, and provide support for the racers. A signup sheet is available in Fellowship Hall - first come; first served.
